Pallivasal Power Plant is the first Power Project in Kerala. Initially installed as a 200 kv installation in 1928 by the Kannan Devan Hill Produce Co. and later upgraded toa large scale plantwith a capacity of 37.5 Megawatts and augmentation projects are going on currently to increase the capacity to 60 MW.
